About TFUCare
Bridging the gap between international patients and Chengdu's top public hospitals — independently, and never on commission.
Our team
We are a small Chengdu-based team of bilingual coordinators. We have deliberately not filled this section with a stock photograph or an invented biography: when the named founder profile and verifiable background are ready, they go here.
Company details
Anyone can check whether a company is real, and we would rather you did. Our full registered name, unified social credit code, registered and office address and a landline will be listed here. Until then, ask us for them and we will send them.
Our story
Most international patients who could be treated in China never find out how. The hospitals with the international departments are real, the surgeons are real, and the prices are a fraction of what the same procedure costs in the US or UK — but the information is locked behind Chinese-language websites, unanswered switchboards and agencies who will not say who pays them.
We started in Chengdu because that is where we are, and because West China Hospital is one of the strongest single-site hospitals in the country and almost unknown outside China. We spent the time to walk its international pathway ourselves rather than repeat a brochure.
What we are not: a hospital, a travel agency, or a directory that sells placement. Our only revenue is the service fee you pay us, and you pay the hospital directly for treatment.
Where we actually stand
What we will not do
We will not invent a network
Our hospital directory distinguishes hospitals whose international pathway we have walked ourselves from those we have only listed from public information. Most entries are marked listing only, because that is what they are.
We will not quote you a price we cannot source
Where a figure cannot be verified, the page shows a visible placeholder rather than a plausible number. You will see those markers on this site — they are deliberate.
We will not pretend a visa rule is friendlier than it is
Medical treatment is not a permitted purpose of China's visa-free entry. Treatment-led trips need an M visa. Several sites get this wrong; getting it wrong can mean being refused entry.
We will not promise an outcome
No one can. We are not a medical provider, we do not diagnose or treat, and we do not guarantee results or claim payments.
We will not use stock people
Photographs on this site are of Chengdu and of the hospital, not of models. Where we have no real photograph of something, we leave the space empty.
How we work
We start with the record, not the sales call
The first thing we do with a case is read the imaging, pathology and discharge summaries — translated and summarised for the department that would actually treat you.
We name one hospital, not a list
A shortlist of twelve is a way of avoiding the decision. Our free review names the one hospital we would point you to, and says why.
We put your questions in writing
We send your specific questions to the right department and bring back their written answer, in English, before you commit to travel.
We stay with you inside the hospital
A bilingual coordinator accompanies you through registration, consultation, imaging, admission and discharge — the part where language stops being a convenience and becomes a safety issue.
We tell you when China is wrong for you
If your case is better treated at home, or at a different hospital, we say so. You will have paid nothing for that answer.
Who does what
Medical coordinators
Bilingual staff who read and translate records, prepare the case summary in the format a Chinese department expects, and route your specific questions to the right physician.
Arrival and travel coordinators
Airport pickup, accommodation near the hospital campus, and the practical logistics of a stay that may run several weeks.
In-hospital interpreters
Accompaniment at registration, consultation, imaging, admission and discharge, including full medical-terminology interpretation.
Your named contact
One coordinator per case who answers within about 24 hours on business days, and who is your channel to the hospital for anything that needs confirming.
